Your zine! So beautiful. One of my friends had a zine shop in the late 90s and this really brought back memories of that time in my life. My kids and I have been having fun using the friendship template from the workshop, making zines for each family member and other friends and neighbors. Thanks so much for always inspiring me to be more creative, Anna. It's truly a gift!
I had no idea the library in Seattle had a zine collection. This is amazing! And Trillium watch is beautiful. Would definitely pick that up if I saw it at a coffee shop.✨
A year ago this month, I read this, admired your examples, and was inspired. I grabbed a sheet of simple copy paper, folded and cut it as described, and then put it on my window sill to await a worthy topic. It sat there for nine months, that blank paper criticizing every suggestion. While preparing to move to a new house, I almost packed it…. but into the recycling bin it fell.
This month, a delightful, small gallery near me offered a class on Zines. I signed up immediately, recalling the inspiration of this entry—and that intimidating piece of blank paper. Somehow by joining a class, surrounded by supportive Others, the Critical Voice was silenced. Hooray! In the class, all of us finished one Zine and started a second. It was great fun, and there will be more. Thank you for sparking the interest. ❤️
Absolutely LOVE the botanical zine! I
