I would really love to join the May retreat but am having a little trouble signing up in regards to the shuttle. Is there a person I can have a quick chat with to ask a couple of questions and complete my registration ? Thanks so much!
Love the metaphor of the old hardened lemon - whether if it's for a dish that didn't get made or a project that didn't happen - the intention was still there.
I’m not an artist, more of a craftsperson, but all of the tools, equipment, accoutrements, and yarn (so. much. yarn) of being a fiber-oriented person have shared space around the edges of my professional home office space. In that life, I’ve been a nonprofit executive and a writer. So, my studio space is like the old Doublemint gum commercial said: “Two messes [mints], two messes [mints], two messes [mints] in one!” I’m retiring in a couple of weeks and have been downsizing the office mess in order to allow the fiber mess to breathe and expand. Will my creative brain shift gears from writing to knitting and weaving? I’m curious to see what will result.
I appreciate the photos you shared--my space looks so much like them!
