Genuine and generous sharing, thank you both. Thank you @Lindsay Gardner for talking about how the way you view your creative process and your daily life has muted over time to be more aligned with all that you are. There is something very subtle yet powerful in the way you describe your journey, I guess just a touch of humanity. :) and it's so precious. I also ask myself how I want to feel when I create. It really induces another state of body/mind.
Ahhhh. "An artist is someone who is brave enough to let the inner thoughts come out." I feel this, as someone who self-censored (and still does). Good nudge to keep practicing the art of emergence.
I am by no means an artist (or I don't feel it that way anyway)but what you said about being childfree and making it hard so we can be worthy of being an artist were very on point and spoke to me.
I understand the hesitation but it is still your reality and someone else reality too. And it's interesting to find out how we- childfree women feel about productivity vs women with children and vice versa. It also shows unfortunately how our life and work life are perceived because we are childfree. It's a wide and complex topic to discussed I think and I'm glad you touched upon it.
I loved this reminder: “you make your own curiosity… Whatever small thing it is, there's validity in those inquiries that we have, and then the crucial thing is to act on them.” Thank you for sharing this beautiful interview and the poem too! ❤️
This was such a treat to read. I got so much from this conversation. Thank you both for your candid sharing.

Lovely conversation and poem.
I cannot physically afford, to 'up-grade',..or pay.
But I cannot...CANNOT(!)
mentally, emotionally,...spiritually
NOT SAY(!..!)...'pay'...
