Hi everyone,

I’m looking forward to kicking off UNFURLING tomorrow.

This (digital) creative retreat is a seasonal check-in for our creative practice. I’m hoping that it offers up a little moment to take stock, reassess, and to do some thinking about what seeds you want to plant, and how you’ll grow into this new season.

UNFURLING is a seasonal offering for paid subscribers, so if you’ve been debating on signing up, now is the time.

How does it work?

I’ll be sending out a daily newsletter starting tomorrow and taking us through Sunday. Every day will have a little reflection and prompt of some sort. If you were here for 24 Days of Making, Doing, and Being in December, or the digital creative retreat that I did last year for the summer solstice then you kind of have a feel for what this will be like. If you’re entirely new to the Creative Fuel ecosystem and energy, then you just have to trust me.

Another fun component: printable PDFs! Spring is the season where I feel like I want to distance myself from a screen. That’s not entirely possible for me, and probably not for most of you. But that doesn’t mean I don’t want to figure out some creative workarounds to at least encourage a little less screen time.

That’s exactly what this printable component will be, so if you have access to a printer then you’ll be able to print something every day and take it with you for inspiration.

What do you need to take part?

Mostly just yourself. And a pocket of time. It’s a self-imposed retreat, so how you fit this into your life over the next few days is up to you. You’ll also have access to the archives, so even if you can’t keep up with it every day, you can always come back to it.

How do you sign up?

I’d love to have you take part! All you need to do is sign up for a paid subscription. As a paid subscriber you’ll also have access to this month’s Studio Session on April 14th, which is a live event combining art and music, hosted in collaboration with Fog Chaser .
