Hello friends,
Here we are. The final day of this calendar.
I am so glad that you’ve been here and followed along, whether you diligently read every single day or whether you dipped in and out. I hope that over the past few weeks, this digital space has felt calming and grounding. A place to land. Maybe it even offered up a tiny glimmer of brightness.
As I sit down to write this final installment, fog hangs in the evergreens outside my window. There is some quiet choral music playing, as well as the hum of the washing machine. The vacuum cleaner sits sprawled out in the middle of the floor. There are boxes leftover from last weekend’s market all over the living room that haven’t been put away yet. Nothing has been prepared or baked.
Things are as they are. I am working at letting them be.
